Join us for a short float down the Bow River, and meet other Cochrane Paddlers!
We will start our trip briefly covering basic river safety, communication and river signals. Kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes welcome! Expect to catch some eddies, maybe practice some eddie turns and ferries, but mostly expect to visit and socialize with other club members.
We will meet first at Riverfront Park parking lot to set shuttle (details will be emailed about shuttle logistics if you’re unsure!).
Where: Riverfront Park to Jack Tennant Bridge
When: 6pm
Cost: free with membership!
Capacity: 10 persons
Please bring your own equipment: pfd’s, appropriate attire, watercraft and paddle of choice.
Times may be subject to change depending on volunteer availability.
